China-based electronics maker Huawei is all set to launch its new Smartphone, the Huawei Mate 8. The release date of the phone has been confirmed for Sept. 2. The device will reportedly have a 6.0-inch display, packed with 1,440 x 2,560 pixels QHD screen resolution. This display combination translates to a pixel density of 490 ppi. It will come powered by the company’s own Kirin 950 SoC.
The Huawei Mate 8 will sport a 20.7MP rear-facing camera, in addition to an 8 MP front-facing snapper for selfies. For the battery unit, even though there’s no official information available at this point, the predecessor Huawei Ascend Mate 7 comes with an awesome 4,100 mAh capacity.
